Boys and Girls can be just friends?

I was watching a movie where the guy kept repeating that woman and man can't be just friends because of the attraction factor. He said that man always wanted to have sex with their supposed 'girlfriends'.
Well, I have A LOT of male friends, and, really, they are JUST friends. At some point of my friendship with each one of them I thought I was in love,
BUT, I realized that, in the end, I was confusing the love we have for friends and the love we have for THE ONE, get it?
The thing is, is much easier to be friends of guys than of girls. You would ask me "why?" Well... Sometimes a guy's opinion is more realistic than a girl's... And the men are less dramatic I think...
I really love my male friends and I could not live without them.
